MAUPAY MAKES MARSEILLE DEBUT WHILE GREENWOOD CONTINUE SCORING! Mason Greenwood, A photo by Olympique Marseille  Neal Maupay Made his Ligue 1 debut for Olympique Marseille as the won 3-1 against Toulouse last night. The 28 year old Argentine striker came in the second half of the game and played 14 minutes. Maupay was signed on loan from English Premier League side Everton for the 2024/25 season. On the other hand, Another Marseille signee Mason Greenwood  doesn't seem to be slowing down when it comes to scoring goals. The English winger scored a brace in yesterday's encounter to take his goal tally to 5 goals in 3 matches. Greenwood was recently signed from Manchester United on a €26M transfer fee and with his performance, it doesn't seem like Marseille's money went down the drain.

Xabi Alonso, A photo by Bayer Leverkusen Xabi Alonso and Bayer Leverkusen domestic unbeaten streak came to an end last night where they faced BR Leipzig in their second Bundesliga match hosted at the Bay Arena which is Leverkusen's home stadium. Leipzig won the match 3-2 to end Leverkusen's streak where they were undefeated domestically for 43 games but were defeated yesterday Leipzig on their 44th match.  In the last 44 games Leverkusen played they manged to win 35 while drawing 8 games. The home side Leverkusen had a 2-1 lead heading to the half-time break. The first half goals for Alonso's side came from Jeremie Frimpong and Alejandro Grimaldo while Kevin Kampl got 1 for Leipzig.  Leipzig will get their equalizer and winner in the second half via Loïs Openda's Brace to end Leverkusen's streak.

VICTOR OSIMHEN TO STAY AT NAPOLI? VICTOR OSIMHEN TO JOIN THE PREMIER LEAGUE? For the past few weeks, clubs have been engaging with Italian Serie-A side Napoli for the possible transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.  English Premier League side Chelsea and an unnamed club from the Saudi Pro League have submitted offers to the Italian outfit.  It has been reported that both teams had submitted an offer starting from €65m while the Serie-A team was implying that their striker is prized for €130m. Now news have emerged that the Nigerian striker has rejected a move to Saudi Arabia regardless of the Saudi Pro League paying players well. English Premier League's Chelsea and Italian Serie-A's Juventus are battling it out for the possible transfer of Manchester United midfielder Jadon Sancho.  Both teams will be trying by all means to get the English midfielder before the transfer window shuts this week. Talks between Manchester United, Chelsea and Juventus for the possible transfer of Sancho are still ongoing. Juventus are looking to bring Sancho on season long loan while Chelsea want to sign him for a permanent transfer.  Sancho was signed by Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund in 2021 for £80m while his market value was over €100m according to transfermarkt. SUNDOWNS PART WAYS WITH DEFENDER! Record breaking Mamelodi Sundown confirmed the departure of Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutoil. The club confirmed his departure on their publications.  Boutoil joined Sundowns in July 2022 from Moroccan outfit SCC Mohammedia for a R7m transfer fee. Ever since he completed a move to Sundowns, he manged to play 31 games in 2 seasons. MANCHESTER UNITED AND NAPOLI AGREE A PLAYER'S TRANSFER! As we Gatti Sports Reports had reported that Serie-A side Napoli and English Premier League side Manchester United were in talks of a possible transfer of midfielder Scott McTominay for past few weeks. BARCELONA SEND PLAYERS ON LOAN! Catalan giants FC Barcelona have sent their players Clement Lenglet and Victor roque for this already commenced season to fellow LaLiga outfits. Lenglet will be loaned out to Atletico Madrid while Roque will head to Real Betis Balompie. Both players will spend the entire season away from the club.
